MARION - Carolina Belle Williams, 62, of Van Buren, died at 10:05 a.m. Aug. 21, 2008, in her residence.

She was born April 5, 1946, in Marion, to Gotch Anderson and Dorothy Troxell McWhirt.

She lived in Marion most of her life and was a former resident of Colorado and Kosciusko County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Van Buren American Legion Auxiliary Post 368. She attended Van Buren Nazarene Church. She enjoyed fishing, boating and doing volunteer work.

Surviving are two sons, Ray (and spouse Laura) Justice, LaVerkin, Utah, and Russ (and spouse Kelly) Justice, Silver Lake; a daughter, Laura (and spouse Doug) Zumbrun, Upland; her mother, Dorothy McWhirt, Gas City; 12 grandchildren: Jo Dudley; Missy, Cassandra, Stephen, Brian, Amanda, Lizbeth and Clifton Zumbrun; AnneBelle Marcus, Tristan and Kelsey Justice; two great-grandchildren, Lyndsey and Trenton Dudley; a brother, David (and spouse Cindy) McWhirt, Upland; three sisters: Ruth (and spouse Doug) Howard and Ethel (and spouse David) Williams, all of Upland, and Dorothy Bell, Marion; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a nephew, Jimmy Howard.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, with the Rev. Jeff Waas officiating. Graveside services will be at a later date.

Calling is from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
