BOURBON – Carol J. Lemler, 74, of rural Tippecanoe, died at 7:20 a.m. June 19, 2011, in Life Care Center, Rochester.
She was born Jan. 20, 1937, in Bourbon, to Kenneth and Anna Larson Redman. On June 29, 1955, she married Richard A. Lemler, who survives.
A lifetime resident of the Bourbon and Tippecanoe area, she was a homemaker and was a former special needs bus driver with JJR (Marshall Starke) and worked at LM Berry (DePuy). She graduated from Bourbon High School in 1955.
Surviving are two children, Jill (and spouse Tom) Neyhart, Crawfordsville, and Mike (and spouse Kim) Lemler, Milford; five grandchildren; a sister, Shirley (and spouse Lowell) Hisey, Rochester; and a brother, Jim (and spouse Mary) Redman, Leesburg. She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, with the Rev. Eugene Neyhart officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
