NAPPANEE — Carol Adams, 83, Nappanee, died at 3 a.m. Dec. 30, 2016, at Elkhart Hospice House, where she was admitted on Thursday following a long illness. She was born Dec. 18, 1933, in Tippecanoe, to Wren and Evelyn Doubt Crane. She married Lotus “Lody” Adams in June 1950. He survives. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Tuesday funeral services at the funeral home. Pastor Jeremy Grueser of Mt. Tabor Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Union Center Cemetery.
