Carol A. Damron, 57, of 1614 Idlewild Drive, Rochester, died at 3:22 a.m. May 15, 2007, in her residence.
She was born April 24, 1950, in Rochester, to Ronald L. and Nilah G. Edwards Baber. On April 17, 1971, in Macy, she married David P. Damron, who survives.
She was a 1967 North Miami High School graduate, and attended school in Guam for several years where her family was stationed. She had been a distribution clerk, field record clerk and service technician for Northern Indiana Public Service Co. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are a son, Kyle Damron, Somerset, Ky.; a brother, Rick L. Baber, Rochester; and a sister, Mrs. Ed (Barbara) Brown, Kokomo. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Grace United Methodist Church, Rochester, with the Rev. Rick Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Macy.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, and one hour prior to service Friday at the church.
