Games, food and an animal show all will be a part of Friday's family carnival in Central Park.
Warsaw Parks Department will hold its annual family carnival in Central Park Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Zoological Society, Fort Wayne, will put on an interactive animal show from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. There also will be carnival games for 25 cents a game.
"This carnival is geared for the entire family, and with high food and gas prices we are trying to offer something affordable for families," said Casey Larson, Warsaw Parks Department recreation leader.
There will be two inflatable Moonwalks and a bungee run. Food vendor Smokin Charlies will sell barbecue sandwiches, ribs and chips. Debbie Beer, food vendor, will sell hot dogs, caramel apples, nachos and cotton candy.
Warsaw Fire Department will have its fire truck on display, and an obstacle course will be set up.
The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club will have a child identification station from 6 to 9 p.m. at Center Lake Pavilion where children will have the opportunity to be fingerprinted.
