Carmen Josephine Ellis SmithROCHESTER – Carmen Josephine Ellis Smith, 97, died at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, in Rochester.
She was born Feb. 22, 1924, in Fulton County, to Clair and Ruby Black Ellis. Carmen married Glen Smith, of Macy, in 1954. Glen died in 2002.
A graveside service celebrating Carmen's life and sharing memories will be at 1 p.m. EST Saturday, Sept. 11 at the Athens-Hoover Cemetery. Chaplain Todd Wilson will officiate.
The Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, is entrusted with arrangements.
