SYRACUSE - Carlos DeLaCruz Jr., 61, of Larwill, passed away Jan. 5, 2011, in his residence.
He was born Oct. 4, 1949, in Texas City, Texas, to Carlos and Elvira Ramos DeLaCruz.
He formerly worked at Llyal Electric, Kendallville.
Surviving are his mother, Elvira DeLaCruz, Larwill; four sisters: Virginia (and spouse Tom) Halsey, Columbia City; Mary (and spouse Richard) Gaerte, Pierceton; Eloise DeLaCruz, Larwill; and Esther Black, Cromwell; a brother, Fred (and spouse Juli) DeLaCruz, Butler; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlos DeLaCruz Sr.; a sister, Lily DeLaCruz; a brother, Gene DeLaCruz; a nephew, Tony Gaerte; and two nieces, Jennifer and Lacy.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse. Burial will be in Wilmot Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
