ROCHESTER – Carl Von Grube Sr., 82, of Kewanna, died April 6, 2012, in his residence, surrounded by his family.
He was born Feb. 12, 1930, to Jennings B. and Bertha F. Little Grube. On Aug. 17, 1957, in Cass County, he married Pearl Gunter, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Penny Grube, Rochester; a son; three granddaughters; a great-grandson; two sisters; and two brothers, Paul (and spouse Pat) Grube, Rochester. He was preceded in death by four brothers.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester, with Pastor John Branch officiating.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with military rites by members of the Leroy Shelton American Legion 36 and Veterans of Foreign Wars 1343 and the Marine Corp Military rites honors unit.
