Carl Robbins, 76, San Diego, Calif., died Oct. 11, 2007, in Kaiser Permanente-San Diego Medical Center Zion in Allied Gardens.
He was born May 12, 1931, in Warsaw. He married Janice Carolyn Nutt, who survives.
Moving to San Diego in 1959, he taught in the San Diego city school system for more than 40 years and also coached and officiated. He was a U.S. Air Force, serving in the Korean War.
Also surviving are a son, Carl Elliot Robbins; and two granddaughters.
Services were Friday at Fort Rosecrans.
