Carl Richard “Bubba” Anderson, 54, Warsaw, passed away at 2:20 p.m. May 24, 2016, in I.U. Health Goshen Hospital. He fought a courageous battle with cancer and won the fight, because he is now with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born Nov. 4, 1961, in Warsaw, to Warren and Betty Mann Anderson. On May 23, 1992, in Silver Lake, he marriage Karen Clemons, who survives in Warsaw. They were married 24 years. He served the country in the U.S. Army as a crew chief with the Medi-Vac Unit. He was honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant from 1980 to 1986. He was general manager for PEP Trigon, Warsaw, and attended Warsaw Community Church. He liked to fly planes, scuba dive, race, golf and was always looking for any kind of new adventure. Also surviving are three children: Christopher (and spouse Megan) Anderson, Warsaw; Taylor Anderson, San Diego, Calif.; Nigel Anderson, West Lafayette; two sisters, Becky Conley, Warsaw, and Teresa (and spouse Mike) Spangle, Warsaw; and his mother-in-law, Bonnie Clemons, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and a sister, Leeanna Muck. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor James Lipkins officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military honors provided by American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 1126, Warsaw.
