PIERCETON - Carl Richard Blackburn, 63, of 226 N. CR 950W - 92, Pierceton, died at 1:30 a.m. May 5, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.
He was born Feb. 17, 1944, in Fulton County, to Carl and Hilda Johnston Blackburn. On May 20, 1967, he married Judy Shepherd, who survives.
He was a lifetime area resident.
Also surviving is a sister, Juanita Scott, Bourbon. He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, with Pastor Craig Frithchley officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
Calling is two hours prior to the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
