Carl E. Williams, 87, Winona Lake, passed away at 9:35 a.m. June 16, 2015, at Grace Village Retirement Community of Winona Lake. He was born July 21, 1927, in LaPorte, to Harry J. and Ethel Florence Nicklas Williams. On Sept. 13, 1953, he married Marilyn Sue Kelly, who survives in Winona Lake. He was a resident of Kosciusko County since 1970, where he was a member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He served in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1949. He was a 1953 graduate of Indiana University, receiving his bachelor’s degree in business and accounting. He was a certified public accountant and partner with Dahms & Yarian in Warsaw for 40 years, retiring in 2010. He was a member of the Warsaw Rotary Club and was a Shriner. Also surviving are his daughter: Sharon (and spouse Wayne) Williams-Hanrattie, Columbus; one grandson, Zachary Williams, Hawaii; one granddaughter, Kaelin Hanrattie, Columbus; and his sister, Elna Lewis, Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sons: Bradley and Brian Williams. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High St., Warsaw, officiated by Dr. Erik Ohman. A graveside service is at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
