NORTH MANCHESTER – Carl D. Harlan Jr., 61, of North Manchester, died at 1 a.m. May 23, 2012, in his residence.
He was born March 16, 1951, in Mishawaka, to Carl D. Sr. and Leona G. Runnels Harlan.
He worked at Whitley Manufacturing, South Whitley, from 1975-90 and Sunnyside Farms, North Manchester, from 1990-95.
Surviving are three sons, Richard L. (and spouse Kelly) Harlan and Michael J. Harlan, all of North Manchester, and Jason E. (and spouse Patricia) Harlan, Wabash; a daughter, Erin M. (and spouse Jason) Gray, Wabash; two brothers, Donald (and spouse Connie) Harlan and Warren (and spouse Patricia) Harlan, all of North Manchester; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Swank Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
