“Chick” Bradway, 91, Etna Green, passed away at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 20, 2014, in his home. He was born Aug. 14, 1923, in Harrison Township, to John Ellsworth and Ethel Nellie Anglin Bradway. On May 3, 1941, in Atwood, he married Gloria “Jean” Beach, who survives in Etna Green. A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, he was a lifetime farmer. He was a 1941 graduate of Atwood High School. Also surviving are a daughter, Dixie (and spouse Jim) Breading, Warsaw; a son, Tom (and spouse Sheri) Nappanee; a sister, Julia Ann Schultz, Masa, Ariz.; four grandchildren: Jim (and spouse Nicki) Breading, Plainfield; Carl E. “Chip” (and spouse Shelley) Bradway, Fishers; John Breading and Danna Breading, both of Warsaw; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James W. Bradway, who died April 17, 1998, and Ward Bradway, who died Aug. 16, 2001; a grandson, Rod Bradway who died Sept. 20, 2013; and a granddaughter, DeeAnn Bradway, who died March 31, 1974. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood, with the Rev. James A. McKibbin officiating.
