Cargill Gives Grant To KC-Ed

Posted

Cargill of Mentone provided a grant of $6,250 to KC-Ed to recognize their dropout prevention efforts at Tippecanoe Valley High School. In three years, KC-Ed’s support of graduation coaches at Tippecanoe Valley, Warsaw and Wawasee schools have supported and mentored 143 students to graduation who might have otherwise dropped out. Without the support of organizations such as Cargill, this would not have been possible. These funds will be used to support graduation coaches at Tippecanoe Valley High School. Graduation coaches promote graduation, one relationship at a time by mentoring students at risk for dropping out of school at Tippecanoe Valley, Warsaw, Wawasee and Whitko Community schools.
