Cardinal Center conducted the media day for its Million Dollar Hole-In-One Shoot-Out Friday at Raccoon Run Golf Course. Pictured above are Platinum Sponsors for the event. Platinum sponsors provide $2,500 and volunteers for the event. Premium sponsor for the event is R.R. Donnelley and Sons. Donnelley provided $5,000 and 75 volunteers to help organize the event. Donnelley also promotes inclusion of Cardinal Center clients into the workforce. Closest-to-the-pin qualifying rounds were conducted Saturday and Sunday at golf courses throughout the area. Golfers paid $1 per shot for a chance to qualify. Those who qualified will be given the opportunity to take one shot for a $1 million grand prize. The final shoot-out will be conducted July 23 at Stonehenge. All proceeds benefit the Cardinal Center endowment to meet long-term program needs. Photo by Gary Gerard, Times-Union
