Caralee was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Argos, to Louis E. Hite and Anna Raye Eaton Hite. She has been a resident of Bourbon since 1954.
Caralee had cooked at Triton High School, where she retired and continued her amazing talents of cooking at area restaurants and cooked breakfast for Triton Kiwanis Club for several years. Early on she and her husband were members of Bourbon First United Methodist Church; she was a 4-H leader in the past; and she was a member of the Card Party Club, which she enjoyed.
On Aug. 30, 1947, she married the love of her life, Earl Stoneburner; he preceded in death June 29, 1999.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Sam) Cullison, Hoffman Lake, Warsaw, and Lori (Danny) Quinn, Louisville, Ky.; son, Stephen (Darla) Stoneburner, Bourbon; four granddaughters; one grandson; six great-grandchildren; sister, Avalee Ferguson, Plymouth; and brother, Alan (Doris) Hite, Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; and great-granddaughter Carly.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Oct. 23, in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon.
