Darlene Ehrenman, Kosciusko County Safe Kids Coordinator, poses with car seats that were involved in accidents and taken out of service. Safe Kids, in cooperation with Multi-Township Emergency Medical Service and Petro's GM Showplace, will conduct a free car seat checkup Saturday. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Petro's GM on Ind. 15 north of Warsaw. Families attending the car seat checkup can have car seats examined by safety specialists for proper installation, age/size appropriateness and to determine if the seat has been recalled or damaged.
