No injuries were reported when a car went off the road and hit a hot tub in a yard south of Warsaw. The car, driven by David M. Summe, 17, of South CR 250W, Claypool, also struck a NIPSCO pole, breaking it and knocking out power to customers on the south side of town. The pole struck a semi tractor/trailer driven by Oscar F. Hodges, 59, of Orleans. Summe was northbound on Ind. 15 at CR 150W when the accident occurred. He told police he was adjusting his radio when his vehicle went off the road. Summe said he tried to stop, but slid into the decking around the hot tub. The property belongs to Sheri Krichbaum, South CR 150W, Warsaw. Damage is estimated at $10,000 to $25,000.
