Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Dept. deputy Shane Bucher responded to a report of a submerged vehicle early this morning in Warsaw.
The call came in at 6:16 a.m. for a car in a pond at 2059 N. Pound Drive.
According to the incident report, Kelsey N. Heche, 18, North Webster, was dropping off a family member at her work. When she attempted to leave, she was unable to see the road due to the heavy rain. She then drove off the road and into the pond.
There were no injuries in the incident. Kosciusko County Dive Team, along with KCSD and Crouse Towing, responded.
