I must say it was refreshing to read that three of the four candidates do not want closing or modification of CR 100E. Kudos to Mr. Alspaugh, Mr. Babcock and Mr. Miller.
Mr. Thallemer, on the other hand, thinks that diverting CR 100E around the extended runway is a viable solution. Duh! That plan has the same effects that closing the road would cause. It takes away the straight shot that we enjoy, going south toward the hospital or our jobs or schools and going north to work or receiving emergency services. That's called a detour, Mr. Thallemer, a permanent detour. A daily detour which the taxpaying homeowners on this road do not deserve.
Let's keep in mind when it is time to vote. Vote for the candidate who plans on representing the interests of the majority rather than the few.
