Filing for the November school board elections ended Friday at noon with some seats being sought by several candidates.
In the Warsaw Community School Corp. Board of Trustees race, three men are seeking the District 3 seat: James L. Folk, Gilliam Drive, Warsaw; Albert Guy Smith, Alward Street, Warsaw; and John Yingling, South Hunters Ridge, Warsaw.
Three men are also seeking the District 6 seat. They are Craig Allebach, Fisher Avenue, Warsaw, the incumbent; Michael Klondaris, Woodlawn Drive, Warsaw; and Daniel M. Stevens, North Lake Street, Warsaw.
The only candidate running for District 4 is Charles E. Sauders, South Packerton Road, Warsaw.
Wawasee School Corp. has two seats up for election. Candidates are Donald E. Mort, EMS T-7B Lane, Leesburg; Scott Franklin Wise, North CR 850E, Pierceton; Jeffrey S. Wells, East Northshore Drive, Syracuse, incumbent; and Dallas Winchester, East Beer Road, Milford.
Incumbent Kevin R. Boyer, Rose Lane, Bourbon, is seeking the Triton School Corp. at-large seat against Debra S. Fink, Elm Road, Tippecanoe. Steven J. Feldman, Bourbon, will run for District 3.
The only Kosciusko County voters involved in the Triton School Corp. election are those in Etna Township and they vote for the entire school board.
