Hughes Makes Dean’s List
LIMA, Ohio – The University of Northwestern Ohio announced Patrick L. Hughes, Mentone, made the Dean’s List for the May 2014 session in the College of Applied Technologies.
Full-time students must receive a grade point average of 3.5 or higher to be named to the Dean’s List.

Hutcherson Earns Dean’s List
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central College has named its Dean’s List of scholars for the 2014 spring term.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, undergraduate students must maintain a grade-point average of 3.6 for the term and be enrolled as full-time students.
Kayla Hutcherson, Winona Lake, was named to the Dean’s List during spring term.

Saint Mary's College Announces Spring 2014 Semester Dean’s List
NOTRE DAME – Local students were named to the Saint Mary's College spring 2014 semester Dean's List.
Those students include: Fernanda Amado, Syracuse; Sara Balogh, Nappanee; and Cinthya Gutierrez, Nappanee.

Meinert Earns Degree From Iowa
IOWA CITY, Iowa – Marina Meinert, a native of North Manchester, received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Iowa at the close of the 2014 spring semester.
Approximately 5,000 degrees were awarded at the end of the semester.

Area Students Named To Trine Dean’s List
ANGOLA – Trine University has announced its Dean’s List for the spring 2014 semester.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have earned a semester grade point average of 3.5 to 3.749 and carry a minimum of 15 credits.
Included on the list are:
• Erick Heckaman, Nappanee, freshman majoring in civil engineering.
• Jordan Kuhn, Leesburg, freshman majoring in chemistry.
• William Leismer, Milford, senior majoring in electrical engineering.
• Preston Penrod, North Manchester, junior majoring in management.
• Christopher Short, North Webster, sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering.
Locals Named To Trine President’s List
ANGOLA – The following local students have been named to the Trine University president's list for the spring 2014 semester.
To be named to the president's list, a student must have at least a 3.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and carry at least 15 credit hours.
Named were:
• Alec Burchard, Warsaw, sophomore majoring in design engineering technology.
• Sarah Dougherty, Nappanee, senior majoring in elementary education.
• Augustus Lukens, Rochester, senior majoring in finance.

Trine School Of Professional Studies Announces President’s List
ANGOLA – Students have been named to the Trine University School of Professional Studies President’s List for spring 2014.
To be named to the President’s List, a School of Professional Studies student must take at least 12 credit hours and have at least a 3.75 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
The following local student received President’s List honors:
• Amber Perrin, Rochester, senior management.
