GREENVILLE, N.C. – Kristina Cripe, of Winona Lake, graduated with a CERT-Aquatic Therapy and MS-Recreat Serv and Intervent from East Carolina University during spring commencement exercises May 4 in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
Cripe was one of 5,479 graduates who received degrees.
Syracuse’s Weisser Makes Goshen College Dean’s List
GOSHEN – Goshen College recently recognized 192 undergraduate students for excellence in academics on the spring 2018 dean’s list.
Breanna Weisser, a senior nursing major from Syracuse, was recognized for academic excellence on the spring semester dean's list at Goshen College. Weisser is a 2013 Wawasee High School graduate.
The dean's list includes students earning at least a 3.75 GPA, while completing at least 12 hours of coursework for a letter grade. Only grades from the designated semester are included in the dean's list selection process.
Initiated in the fall of 1999, the Dean's List celebrates the achievement of Goshen College students who have met high academic standards and can motivate students preparing for graduate studies.
Locals Earn Degrees From WGU
SALT LAKE CITY – The following local residents have received their degree from Western Governors University (WGU).
The online, nonprofit university held its 64th (Orlando, Florida); 65th (Seattle, Washington); and 66th (Las Vegas, Nevada) commencement ceremonies earlier this year to celebrate the recent graduation of more than 15,000 students from across the country.
• Carolyn Kirchenstien, Mentone, received her bachelor of science in nursing degree.
• Ethyn Brumbaugh, Warsaw, received his master of science in curriculum and instruction degree.
• Tara Bradley, Warsaw, received her bachelor of science in nursing degree.
• Rachel Grasmick, Warsaw, received her master of education in learning and technology degree.
