CEDARVILLE, Ohio – A local student was named to the Cedarville University dean's list for spring 2019. Students were required to maintain a 3.5 minimum GPA while carrying at least 12 credit hours.

ANGOLA – Students taking classes through Trine University's College of Graduate and Professional Studies earned their degrees and took part in Commencement on May 4.

DePauw Spring Dean's List Announced

The Dean's List recognizes students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Dean's List At Olivet Nazarene Released
BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – To qualify for inclusion on the Dean's List at Olivet Nazarene University, a student must have been enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and must have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on a 4.00 grading scale.
Earning the honor were Joshua Back, Mentone; Logan Haessig, Milford; and Kaylee Leeuw, South Whitley.
LeTourneau U. Gives Spring Dean's List
LONGVIEW, Texas – The following student was named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List at LeTourneau University. The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.99 for the semester.
On the list is Samuel Lewis, sophomore, Claypool, majorng in mechanical engineering.
Grant Allbritten Receives White Coat
HARROGATE, Tenn. – Grant Allbritten of Warsaw received a white coat at the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) White Coat Ceremony in Harrogate, Tenn., on April 18.
Allbritten is a rising third-year osteopathic medical student at LMU-DCOM. Prior to enrolling at LMU-DCOM, Allbritten attended Ohio Northern University.
The White Coat Ceremony at LMU-DCOM is a special ceremony designed to mark a student's entrance into the clinical rotations of their medical school training. The first White Coat Ceremony was held in 1993 at Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons and is now a standard ritual in institutions of both allopathic and osteopathic medical education across the country. During the ceremony, each medical student is presented and "robed" with his or her short white laboratory coat, formalizing and welcoming the student's entrance into the study of medicine.
Students Graduate From Earlham College
RICHMOND, Ind. – Gavin Parrett, the son of Lisa and Ronald Parrett of Sidney, was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Earlham College during commencement ceremonies May 11. Parrett majored in politics at Earlham.
Nicholas Sands, the son of Lisa and Daniel Sands of Winona Lake, was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Earlham College during commencement ceremonies May 11. Sands majored in politics at Earlham.
Keeven Earns Medical Degree
David Douglas Keeven, a 2002 Warsaw Community High School graduate, earned his bachelor degree in music education from Campbellsville University, his master’s degree in biology and medical degree from University of Kentucky.
He was a captain in the Kentucky National Guard.
He is in his residency at a hospital in Louisville, Ky.
