YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Miranda Domiano, Warsaw, was named to the Order of Omega, a Greek national honorary society at Youngstown State University.
She is a senior special education major and a member of Delta Zeta Sorority.
To be nominated, students must be of junior or senior status with a combined cumulative grade average of 3.0 or better and have achieved a high standard of leadership in Interfraternity activities.
UE Student Traci Burch Inducted Into Nursing Honor Society
EVANSVILLE – University of Evansville student Traci Burch, Rochester, was recently inducted into UE's Eta Lambda Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Sigma Theta Tau International's mission is to advance world health and celebrate nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership and service.
Kromkowski Performing In Trine Jazz Ensembles Concert
ANGOLA – Trine University's jazz ensembles, under the direction of Prof. Brian Derek, adjunct music faculty, will present its fall concert at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Ryan Concert Hall of the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts.
Alexander Kromkowski, Rochester, a psychology major, will perform on the trumpet.
The concert is free and open to the public.
Local DePauw Student Named To The Tiger Pride HonorRoll
GREENCASTLE – Sydney Wysong, Nappanee, a member of DePauw tennis team, recently was named to the Tiger Pride Honor Roll.
Wysong is one of 205 DePauw student-athletes named to the Tiger Pride Honor Roll for achieving at least a 3.40 grade point average for the 2017 fall semester.
The Honor Roll, started in the 2012 fall semester by Stevie Baker-Watson, DePauw's associate vice president for campus wellness and Theodore Katula Director of Athletics and Recreational Sports, recognizes DePauw student-athletes who are members of an NCAA varsity athletics team and have a semester grade point average of 3.40 or higher.
