MUNCIE - Ashley Rauen, Warsaw, will complete her journalism internship during spring 2007 through the Department of Journalism at Ball State University.
The Department of Journalism requires undergraduate students to complete internships prior to graduation. Internships provide students with experience in the workplace and opportunities to network.
Rauen is a senior majoring in magazine journalism and minoring in creative writing. She will complete her internship with the Academy of Model Aeronautics, Muncie. She is the daughter of Terri Ogden, Warsaw.
Mattson Accepted To UNO
LIMA, Ohio - John Mattson, son of John Mattson IV and Lucinda Renier, Warsaw, has been accepted to the University of Northwestern Ohio, Lima, Ohio, to begin classes in the June session where he will major in the Automotive High Performance program. Mattson attends Warsaw Community High School.
Three On Bethel Dean's
MISHAWAKA - The 2006 fall semester Dean's List at Bethel College, Mishawaka, carries the names of 435 students. Eligibility for the Dean's List requires a 3.5 grade point average with 12 or more semester hours.

Thallemer Makes Dean's
CINCINNATI, Ohio - Michael Thallemer earned the fall Dean's List for the Williams College of Business at Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio, with a grade point average of 3.533. He is double majoring in marketing and entrepreneurial studies. He is the son of Dr. Joseph and Jill Thallemer.

MARION - Erika Duncan, Shelby Petro and Abby Bickel all received recognition on the National Dean's List for the fall semester of the 2006-07 academic year at Indiana Wesleyan University.
To be named on this list, a student must obtain a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and carry at least 12 credit hours for the semester.
Anderson On IUPUI Dean's
INDIANAPOLIS - Kara Anderson, from Silver Lake, was named to the Dean's List at IUPUI by Valerie Eickmeier, Dean for Herron School of Art and Design, for academic achievement during the 2006-07 academic year. This was the result of earning a 3.33 or higher semester grade point average while carrying at least 12 credit hours.

ELMHURST, Ill. - Lindsay Wiley, Warsaw, is among the students named to the Elmhurst College Dean's List for the fall term of the 2006-07 academic year.
The Dean's List includes students who, during the semester concerned, attained a grade point average of 3.75 or better out of a possible 4.0.
Francis Makes Dean's
NEW YORK, N.Y. - Ryan Francis, son of Dave and Linda Francis, Warsaw, earned election to the fall 2006 semester Dean's List at Marymount Manhattan College, New York, N.Y.
To be included on the Dean's List, a full-time student must have completed at least 12 letter-graded credit hours and have attained a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and a part-time student must have completed at least six letter-graded credit hours and have attained a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher. All students must be in good academic and social standing to be eligible for the Dean's List.
