Shipley Earns Dean's List

FINDLAY, Ohio – Brenna Shipley, of Winona Lake, was named to the fall 2018 dean's list at the University of Findlay.

To earn this achievement, a student must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.



Netzley Graduates Sterling College

CRAFTSBURY COMMON, Vt. – Colin Netzley, of Warsaw, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sustainable Agriculture from Sterling College in December.

While at Sterling College, Netzley held a student leadership position as a community advisor. He enjoyed enjoyed soil science, plant science and agroecology courses and did his Senior Year Research Project on vegetable crop season extension. His minor was Draft Animal Power Systems.

Netzley is living in Craftsbury after graduation to farm for one more season to gain further experience before moving back to Warsaw to hopefully start his own farm. Sterling College will formally recognize Netzley and the other December graduates at the May 4 commencement ceremony.

A 2012 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, Netzley is the son of Zachary and Vonnie Netzley, Warsaw.



DePauw's 2018 Fall Dean's List Released

GREENCASTLE – DePauw University's fall 2018 dean's list recipients have been named.

The dean's list recognizes students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

On the list are Claire Hubner, Warsaw; Olivia Jennings, Rochester; Jeremy Jones, Bourbon; Alexandria Peterson, North Manchester; Lucas Schilling, North Manchester; and Sydney Wysong, Nappanee.

EVANSVILLE – The University of Evansville announced those students accepted to UE for the fall 2019 semester.
