PLYMOUTH – Interlochen graduate and musician Calvin Hinds will appear in concert Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. for a live taping of the Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour in Historic Downtown Plymouth.
Wild Rose Moon Performing Arts Center Director George Schricker said, “People are in for a remarkable experience. Calvin is clearly a musical visionary. He stands as a living testament to the brilliant networking strategies applied at the direction of Interlochen Academies. It is clear through his music that he learned a great deal while working with such a diverse group of musicians. His songs just sparkle. It is no wonder he won the 2021 Young Artist Award there – the Academy clearly gave him the freedom to embrace his musical gifts to the fullest.”
On his website, Hinds explains his musical orientation. “My shows are eclectic and energetic, and they span numerous genres and eras. I play a variety of instruments and love to create fresh, unique sounds with them.”
You can hear some of Hinds’s work this weekend by reserving tickets at www.wildrosemoon.com or purchasing them locally at A.S.K. for Flowers. Wild Rose Moon will host a bus load of patrons from Ruthmere Campus in Elkhart for the show, tickets are going fast, so seating may be limited.
