SYRACUSE - Callie M. Smith, 63, of Cromwell, died at 12:33 p.m. March 20, 2010, in Goshen General Hospital.
She was born Dec. 23, 1946, in Knott County, Ky., to Edgar and Theda Click Holland.
She was a Cromwell resident for more than 20 years.
Surviving are six daughters: Marie (and spouse Lance) Halsey, Rosie Smith and Theda (and spouse Troy) Brown, all of Cromwell; Margaret (and spouse Stephan) Wells, Columbia City; Minnie (and spouse Bruce) Furney, Syracuse; and Sherry Halsey, Ligonier; three sons: Billy (and spouse Trish) Smith, Warsaw; David Holland, Shelbyville, Ky.; and Robert Halsey, Syracuse; 32 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four sisters: Inis Watts, Marie and Edna Smith and Nancy Davidson. She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Steve Cox officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is two hours prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
