PIERCETON - A public hearing set for Sunday at 6:30 p.m. regarding the suspension without pay of Deputy Marshal Terry Cahill was postponed at Cahill's request. A new date has not been set.
Cahill was suspended by the town Aug. 24. He retains rights to health insurance coverage. No reasons for the suspension have been given, although he has received written comments by the town council.
Cahill was hired December 2002.
