I think it is really, really shameful how some individuals, including those who write letters for Times-Union, cannot be or will not be fair or reasonable to show appreciation in their thinking, meaning they should "Render unto Caesar what is Caesar." If our president is at fault when something is not good, shouldn't he have credit when something is good?
In politics some say, "Who wants four more years of the same?" Perhaps they would rather have war than peace like our country has had since 9/11. They neglect to admit we have had peace and it was during our present president's time in office. Shouldn't President Bush have credit for that? Did you get it? It was during President Bush's time in office.
To be president during the past fours years would be a very tough job.
Regardless of party, and whoever is president, he or she deserves our prayers. Let's be sure to pray each day for him or her. What ya think?
