C. Kay Miner, 63, Texas, and formerly of Warsaw, died Feb. 4, 2014, in M.D. Anderson Hospital, Houston, Texas. She was born Dec. 27, 1950, in Goshen, to Duane F. and Maybelle Edington Leedy. She was a 1968 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. She was a former longtime Warsaw resident who moved to Florida in 2009 to be closer to her sisters, and then moved to Texas in 2013 to be with her sons. She was an office assistant for Dr. Richard Carmen for more than 30 years. She enjoyed bowling, sewing and being with family and friends and going to church. Surviving are two sons, Darren (and spouse Dawn) Miner, Tomball, Texas, and Gavin Miner, Austin, Texas; six grandchildren: Devan, Joseph, Anthony, Felda, Austin and Ashlyn; a great-grandson, Kingston; two sisters, Linda Doll, and Patricia (and spouse Mark) Fox, all of Punta Gorda, Fla. She was preceded in death by her father, who died Dec. 28, 1984, and her mother, who died Oct. 22, 2000. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
