C. Kay Miner, 63, passed away Feb. 4, 2014, in Anderson Hospital, Houston, Texas. She was born Dec. 27, 1950, in Goshen, to Duane F. and Maybelle Edington Leedy. She was a 1968 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. She was a former longtime Warsaw resident who moved to Florida in 2009 to be closer to her sisters and then to Texas in 2013 to be with her sons. She was an office assistant for Dr. Richard Carmen for more than 30 years. She enjoyed bowling, sewing and being with family and friends and going to church. Surviving are two sons, Darren (and spouse Dawn) Miner, Tomball, Texas, and Gavin Miner, Austin, Texas; six grandchildren: Devan, Joseph, Anthony, Felda, Austin and Ashlyn; a great-grandson, Kingston; two sisters, Linda Doll and Patricia (and spouse Mark) Fox, both of Punta Gorda, Fla. She was preceded in death by her father, Duane F. Leedy, who died Dec. 28, 1984; and her mother, Maybelle Medlam, who died Oct. 22, 2000. Services will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 19 at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Burial is in Mentone Cemetery.
