Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
LEESBURG — The Watershed Foundation (TWF) wants to make sure you have a chance to get out on the dance floor — and protect the lakes while you're at it, according to a provided news release.
TWF's Dance at Tippy fundraiser returns July 25 and for a limited time, the nonprofit is offering a special deal: Buy three tickets and get one free. The offer is available online only at watershedfoundation.org/dance through Thursday. Dance-only tickets are $75 each, so a group of four can save $75 by taking advantage of the offer.
Held at the Tippy Dance Hall in Leesburg, the evening will bring together young folks and those young at heart for a night of tunes from the ‘60s British Invasion, performed live by the band 45 RPM.
"Every person on the dance floor helps protect and improve local water quality," said Paige Hubner, TWF development and operations manager. "We wanted to celebrate the history of this venue and relive our dancing days at the dance hall. We can't wait to hear the stories of those who met their partners here, and all the fun nights this place has seen."
The Watershed Foundation began hosting Dance at Tippy in 2019, after a volunteer pitched the idea of bringing the nostalgia of live music and dancing back to the historic hall.
Tickets and information about the Dance at Tippy are available at watershedfoundation.org/dance.
