Partnering with local businesses, Washington Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Academy received funding for lab coats. Local businesses acquired lab coats with the Washington STEM logo and business logos to be worn by students during Lego robotic competitions and during STEM lab experiments. Wildman Corporate Apparel, Symmetry Medical Inc., Wihebrink Landscaping and Lawn Care, Flexaust Co., and Teacher’s Credit Union were the local businesses contributing to the Washington STEM Academy lab coats. Another local business, Geiger Trenchless Solutions, committed to match the funding received from the fundraiser held at Penguin Point last month.
