Hope Hospice Celebrates 15 Years
ROCHESTER - Hope Hospice in Rochester was started 15 years ago on April 14, 1995 as a not-for-profit, public benefit organization.
The public is invited to stop by their office at 1476 West 18th St. in Rochester for a piece of anniversary cake Wednesday. Hope Hospice will be serving cake, cookies, coffee, and punch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Every visitor will receive a special door prize.
Come by and meet the Hope Hospice Directors, the staff, the board, and the team of dedicated volunteers. The members of the Board of Directors are: Daniel Purkey, Darin Beeker, Sarah Purkey, RN, Rev. Phillip Pratt, Brenda Purkey, RN, CHPN, David Helt, Rev. Ronald Purkey, and Brandon Miller.

Jimenez Joins KREMC
Lourdes Jimenez has joined the customer service/billing department at Kosciusko REMC, serving as part-time customer service representative. She comes to the co-op from the Kosciusko County auditor's office, where she was a deputy auditor.
In her new position, she assists KREMC members with bill payments, billing questions, and service issues. She is bilingual and will be able to assist Spanish-speaking members.
A 2001 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, Lourdes is the mother of three children - Janae, 10; Izayiah, 8; and Jeremiah, 4.
When she's not working at the co-op, she enjoys spending time watching her children's sports activities, which include soccer, volleyball, baseball and softball. She also enjoys running.
Carver Marks 30 Years At KREMC
Kurt Carver, Kosciusko REMC operations supervisor, marked 30 years of service to the members of the electric cooperative on April 1.
Carver started at the cooperative as a ground man/equipment operator on April 1, 1980, and worked his way up the ranks as an apprentice, a lineman, and a lead lineman. He was promoted to his current operations supervisor position in 2004.
Kurt and his wife, Susan, have two children, Nathaniel, 24, and Courtney, 17. They reside in southern Kosciusko County.
"Thirty years of service is a great achievement," said KREMC Manager of Engineering & Operations Bruce Goslee. "Kurt is a valued and important team member, and his dedication is without measure. The members of KREMC are well served by Kurt and the employees he supervises."
