Jon and Genevieve Bushong, Syracuse, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 28. Jon and the former Genevieve Coy were married Nov. 28, 1954, in Bethel Church of the Brethren, Milford, by the Rev. Noble Neff. They are the parents of three daughters: Tanya Brown,Sunny Isles, Fla., Jody (and spouse Charles) Waltermire, Elkhart; and Annette (and spouse Tony) Weisser, Syracuse. They also have six grandchildren: Heather, Andre, Casey, Brittani, Cody and Breanna; and one great-grandchild, Preston. Jon was a barber and retired later from NIPSCO. Genevieve worked for many years as an engineering secretary at Chore-Time Brock, Milford. The couple celebrated their anniversary with a family dinner at Kaizen Restaurant, Goshen, with a decorate cake and a large picture collage filled with memories of the past 60 years.
