Since the Catch Up Café started in September at Warsaw Community High School, some students have wanted the extra math help after school, but had no transportation.
Now, thanks in part to the Warsaw Community Schools Transportation Department, bus services are available to students to certain locations in the school district.
Amanda Scroggs, WCHS assistant principal, said Catch Up Café is offered to students every Tuesday from 3 to 4:15 p.m. They can get help in algebra, geometry or other mathematics.
Two buses will provide students with transportation home after the study session. One bus will go north, and the other has a southern route. The buses will leave the high school at 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays from the main entrance.
The north drop-off locations include Pike Shore Apartments, Shamrock Mobile Home Park, Graceland Mobile Home Park, Canterbury Apartments, Green Acres Mobile Home Park, Heron Apartments, Suburban Acres Mobile Home Park and Whispering Pines.
The south drop-off locations include Lakeview Middle School, Forest Park Mobile Home Park, Fairlane, Merrywood, Hideaway Mobile Home Park, Graceland/Claypool and Silver Lake.
