Only minor injuries were reported this morning when a Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation bus rear-ended a car at Ind. 19 south of CR 750S, Akron, north of the high school at approximately 7:30 a.m. Friday. The car was stopped when struck by the bus, according to Superintendent Brett Boggs. Boggs said the driver of the car was taken to a hospital as a precautionary measure. Students in the bus were all examined out by the Tippy Valley head nurse and there were no serious injuries, Boggs said.
