Burton M. Baker, 79, of 3699 N. CR 175E, Warsaw, died at 9:05 a.m. July 3, 2010, in his residence.
He was born July 5, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio, to Andrew M. and Luella Rose Baker. On March 4, 1971, he married Donna Lee Horn, who survives.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, and has been a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 39 years.
Also surviving are three daughters: Michelle (and spouse Mario) Belmares, Fort Worth, Texas; Darlene (and spouse Rodney) Day, North Manchester; and Pamela (and spouse David) Girouard, Warsaw; three sons, Dan (and spouse Sonia) Shepherd, Robert Baker and Chris Baker, all of Warsaw; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters; and a brother. He was preceded in death by a son, five sisters and four brothers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Dan L. Cox officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with military rites by members of American Legion Post 49 and Veterans of Foreign Wars 1126, both in Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
