An Amish buggy was struck shortly before 7 p.m. Friday at the intersection of U.S. 6 (Market Street) and Ind. 19 (Main Street) in Nappanee. According to witness Russell Stutzman, the buggy was making a turn when it was struck by a grey Dodge Magnum from behind. Injuries were minor and all involved signed off on medical attention, according to Bill Mitschelen, Fire Unit Five. It was unclear who had the right of way at the light. Names were unavailable as of press time. The horse ran off and was later recovered.
