Bruce S. Ruisard

Bruce S. Ruisard, 58, Warsaw, passed away suddenly Nov. 27, 2013.
He was born Jan. 21, 1955, in Valparaiso, to Joseph and Mary Ruisard. On Oct. 8, 1988, he married Susan Pritchard, who survives.
He graduated from Kankakee Valley High School and received his bachelor’s degree from I.U. Gary. He was an avid bird watcher and nature lover. After graduating from high school, he worked at the Grand Canyon. He was an active member in the Kosciusko Audubon Society – being involved with bird counts and various nature programs. He loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed reading and doing research on anything pertaining to history, birds or plants. He was also an active member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed sharing his faith with others. He had his own cleaning business and worked at the Warsaw Library for the past nine years and loved his job.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his son, Ian Zebulum (and spouse Elizabeth) Ruisard, Fort Wayne; his daughter, Hali Kay Ruisard, Fort Wayne; his mother Mary Ruisard, Demotte; five brothers: Steve Ruisard, Portage, and Rod (and spouse Becky) Ruisard, Valparaiso; Richard and Charles Ruisard, both of Demotte; Jeff (and spouse Connie) Ruisard, Kimmel; and his sister, Lisa (and spouse Roy) Way, Demotte. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3191 W. CR 200S, Warsaw, with Elder Mark Klingerman officiating.
Elkhart Cremation services is entrusted with arrangements.
