NORTH MANCHESTER – Bruce E. Pingleton, 46, North Manchester, died at 2:42 p.m. Jan. 18, 2014, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born May 4, 1967, in Wabash, to Carl E. and Mary Louise Greene Pingleton. On Sept. 22, 1990, he married Linda S. Emerick, who survives. He graduated from Manchester High School in 1985 and attended Purdue University. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband and father and never knew a stranger. He was a sales manager for Petro Brothers, Warsaw, for many years and had been employed with Da-Lite Screen, Warsaw, since 2002. He was a member of First Brethren Church, North Manchester. Also surviving are a son, Shane M. Pingleton, at home; a daughter, Shauna M. Pingleton, at home; a mother-in-law, Madeline Emerick, North Manchester; a brother, Lincoln Record, Auburn; a brother-in-law, Rodney (and spouse Heather) Emerick, North Manchester; a sister-in-law, Tammie Nichols, North Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114 W., North Manchester, with Pastor Kurt Stout officiating.
