Gretta Brown, North Manchester, and Denver Brown, Upland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Brown, Warsaw, to Alex VanDiepenbos, Warsaw. He is the son of Brian and Rebecca VanDiepenbos, Goshen.
The bride-to-be is assistant manager at Claires, Warsaw. She graduated from Manchester High School, North Manchester, in 2008; Heartland Career Center - Cosmetology, in 2008; and studied massage therapy at Alexandria School of Scientific Therapeutics, graduating in 2009.
The groom-elect works in Quality Control at Zimmer, Warsaw. He graduated from Fairfield High School, Goshen, in 2007, and studied computer information systems at Ivy Tech Community College.
