Jeff Bronsing, a candidate for sheriff of Kosciusko County, will kick off his campaign Thursday in Syracuse.
Bronsing, a longtime patrolman with the sheriff's department, will meet with the public at 7 p.m. Thursday at Lakeland Youth Center.
Bronsing will discuss various issues and will offer voter registration forms.
Bronsing is running on the Democrat ticket and is one of seven candidates seeking to replace Al Rovenstine, who is in his fourth term and not running again.
