MILFORD - Briget L. Hiatt, 34, Warsaw, died at 6:42 p.m. Feb. 5, 2009, at Kosciusko Community Hospital after a two-year battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 25, 1974, in Fort Wayne, to Thomas and Renee Faulkner Hiatt.
Formerly of Fort Wayne, she was a 1992 graduate of Northrup High School, Fort Wayne. She was a CNA and private health care provider. She loved her girls and playing games with them. She liked cruising the lake on the boat, fishing, dancing and going out with friends. She was a compassionate caregiver to all her patients.
Surviving are two daughters, Courtney Hiatt and Britini Hiatt-Busz, both of Warsaw; her parents, Thomas and Renee Hiatt, Leesburg; a sister, Daniealle (and spouse Ronald) Krider, Ligonier; paternal grandmother, Eleanor Hiatt, Fort Wayne; and two nieces, Riley and Mackenzie Krider, Ligonier. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents and a paternal grandfather.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating.
