ROCHESTER – Coach Brian Keith Hooker, 59, of Rochester, died at 2:32 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 10, 1959, in Rochester, to Jack Barth and Carolyn Jane Coplen Hooker.
He served with the United States Army from 1982-84.
On July 19, 2003, he married Tamera Joan Lapierre in Peru. She survives.
He had taught health and physical education for Rochester Community Schools since 1998 and had coached football, track and baseball.
A celebration of his life was Sunday in the Rochester Community High School gymnasium, with military honors by the Fulton County Veterans Honor Guard and the U.S. Army Honors Team.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today at St. James Lutheran Church, 430 Ninth St., Logansport.
