MARSHALL COUNTY - A Bremen man was arrested Friday after allegedly having a sexual relationship with a teenager.
According to a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department criminal arrest news release, the MCSD received information of a sexual relationship between Jorge Luis Lara, 27, Bremen and the 13-year-old victim.
The MCSD, Bremen Police Department and Department of Child Services then started investigating the information/incident.
Bremen Police Department officer Trent Miles and Lt. Det. Les McFarland then started conducting interviews, along with collecting evidence regarding the information obtained.
On Friday, Oct. 17, Lara was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for child molesting, a level 1 felony. His bond amount was set at $200,000 cash.
