BREMEN -ÊThe Triton Trojan football team scored its first touchdown of the season in a 60-7 loss to Northern State Conference opponent Bremen Friday.
Bremen scored the first points of the game on a 23-yard run with just 12 seconds off the clock to take an early 6-0 lead.
But Triton was not down for long. Rob Salyer caught a Kenny Miller pass 13 seconds later to tie the score at six. After Jim Read split the uprights for the extra point, Triton held its first lead of the year, 7-6.
Bremen scored several more times to finish the game with a 60-7 score.
Triton fell to 0-4 overall on 0-2 in the NSC.
